Mark Logic launches MarkLogic Application Services. Watch the video about Application Builder
On July 14, 2009, we released MarkLogic Application Services 1.0, a suite of services designed to help organizations rapidly design, develop, and deploy rich information-centric applications.
Application Services 1.0 introduces three core services that enable developers to more quickly and easily prototype applications.
- MarkLogic Application Builder — a new graphical application development tool that speeds the creation of search-based applications without writing a single line of code.Watch our guided video and learn more about application builder.
- MarkLogic Search API — a new application programming interface (API) that provides a high-level library designed to simplify the development of rich search applications. Search API dramatically reduces the amount of code needed to develop production-ready applications, allowing developers to focus on unique and differentiating features.
- MarkLogic Library Services API — a new API that adds basic library services, including check-in, check-out, and versioning. This functionality enables organizations to have greater control over documents in multi-author and highly regulated environments such as healthcare, energy, and financial services.
